About Pool League Formats
-
8-BallPlayers are assigned solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15) and must pocket all their balls then sink the 8-ball to win.
-
9-BallBalls 1–9 must be pocketed in order. Any ball can win the game if sunk legally on a shot that contacts the lowest-numbered ball first.
-
Handicap SystemMost local leagues use skill-based handicaps so players of different levels can compete fairly. Check the official site for how the Dunellen league calculates handicaps.
